We’re going to Reno!
Well, not now, it’s only August 5th; the con’s not until November 8.
So, I guess, we will be going to Reno!
Unless you are reading this after the con. Then we went to Reno!
Or if you’re from the future, we will have gone to Reno!
If you like confusing nonsensical sentences, we will have been going to Reno in an indeterminate time frame and space quadrant.
Reno Pop Culture Con (RPCC) is a three-day, family-friendly, fan-focused extravaganza, featuring the best in pop culture entertainment. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet comics artists and writers, book authors, and celebrity guests, shop for collectibles, attend panels and programming, or visit the Pop Culture Classroom’s Kids’ Lab.
RPCC is a program of the Colorado-based nonprofit Pop Culture Classroom, whose mission is to inspire a love of learning, to increase literacy, celebrate diversity, and build community through pop culture education. The proceeds of this event benefit Pop Culture Classroom’s overall educational endeavors.
Last year’s MiniCon was such a blast, we’re going back, “With a Vengeance!“
Although, no one wronged us for vengeance to be necessary…
How about “This time, It’s Personal!“
Except it’s just a fun con, no one offended or hurt us in any way…
Got it! “MiniCon 2: Electric Boogaloo!”
áyA Studios is going to MileHiCon. I know what is sounds like, but it isn’t. It’s a convention for comic books and regular books and video games and stuff.
No, it isn’t. It just sounds like it.
I’m not lying. Check out the website.
That’s a different con, and you may want to reevalute your life decisions.
Okay, this is devolving into conspiracy theories and gibberish and I won’t be apart of it.
MileHiCon is Colorado's largest literary fan-run SF/fantasy convention, held in Denver, CO every October. It features over 100 authors, artists & speakers, the largest art show in the Colorado, dealers, cosplay, gaming, video & anime, robotic competitions, writing panels, panel discussions, fan clubs & more
I keep saying we’re going to a new con or new event, but I guess all cons and events are new to us, since we are a new company.
But, a new Con! Yay!
It’ll be the first time I’ve been in Grand Junction in over 20 years. Prepare yourself Grand Junction. I will try to not burst into flames once I cross your border.
Mesa County Libraries Comic Con is a fun, family-friendly event that brings together fans and creators old and young in celebration of the importance of the stories and fandoms that connect us and enrich our lives.
Since the first Comic Con in Spring 2015, this highly anticipated annual event has quickly grown to attract more than 5,000 attendees from across the Western Slope. Highlighting graphic literature, sequential art, and comics as literary mediums, Mesa County Libraries Comic Con includes an Expo Hall featuring 30 local and regional artists, authors, cosplayers, crafters, and media creators.
Panel presentations give attendees a deeper dive into their chosen topic, while kids enjoy hands-on activities, teens participate in gaming, and everyone takes part in cosplay, photo ops, and costume contests.
A new con for áyA Studios. You may say ”Been to one con, you’ve been to them all”. That’s a pessimistic thing to say, are you all right? This negativity is not like you. Maybe you need a day off.
Fort Collins Comic Con is different. Simply put: A fun, locally-organized, affordable Con experience in Northern Colorado to encourage children’s literacy and increase access to art, culture, and local creators in our community.
So, no, this is not just like all the other cons. Come on up and see us and check out the Con.
Fort Collins Comic Con is meant to encourage youth literacy through comic books and other pop-culture mediums. We also created the con to fill a void for Northern Colorado geeks, who normally have to drive 2+ hours to attend huge events like Denver Comic Con and StarFest, typically at great cost for attendees and vendors alike.
Our goal is to bring together geeks of all ages and types into an affordable Con experience. Whether you appreciate comics, Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, Buffy, Harry Potter, zombies, gaming, steampunk, or something else – we’ve got something for you and you can have a great time near your hometown.

It’s About Fun! ComicFest is Denver’s annual celebration of local, national and international comics, cartooning and art industry! ComicFest is the longest running Rocky Mountain Region Comics convention. It has always been our goal to increase the public’s awareness of the comic book medium and showcase talented local talent and publishers to the general public. What we have been surprised to learn is just how many creators there are that live right here in the region. We promise to continue to work at creating a unique convention experience that allows talented comics professionals to network with each other and meet their fans.
It’s Educational! ComicFest features lots of hands on comic book creation panels and demonstrations. If you are looking to break into Comics this is a great weekend to learn from the pro’s.
It’s About Collecting! Don’t worry if drawing stick figures is the extent of your artistic talent, because ComicFest will provide an outlet for what you enjoy about Comics as well. If you are looking for that special back issue or paper-back you’ll have the chance to search it out at one of our dealer tables. There will also be collection supplies available as well so don’t miss out on any of these items from all of our fine retailers.
It’s About Art! Come get custom sketches of your favorite Comic book characters from the area’s most talented comic book artists. The artists have a wide variety of styles and as a whole have worked for virtually every major publisher so you’re sure to find someone that can create that image that you’ve been waiting to display. Schedules will vary so you’ll have to check with the artists throughout the weekend so you won’t miss out on any of the talented people that will be coming by. We have even more artists to check out in 2016, so take your time and spend some time meeting them.
It’s About The Future! There are other exciting features that make ComicFest the convention that fans from the Rocky Mountain Region will enjoy for years to come!
